Due to safety and sanitary concerns with COVID-19, the library will not provide print course reserves for the fall semester. We encourage faculty to find alternative materials with e-books, electronic articles and open educational resources. Your liaison librarian will be happy to assist with finding alternative materials.
Please note that we will continue to offer the “Scan for Blackboard” option that allows the library staff to provide faculty with high-quality electronic scans of articles or chapters for posting on Blackboard. With the implementation of the new library system, we no longer offer a library e-reserves platform, but faculty can post readings and links on their Blackboard course. Library staff members will also provide permalinks to e-resources, such as journals, e-books and online articles for posting in Blackboard.
We will continue to offer media reserves (DVDs) for faculty. In addition, Molly Fair (Film/Cinematic Arts Librarian) will be happy to work with faculty to identify film streaming options. Please contact Molly at: mfair@richmond.edu.
If you need to have materials scanned or if you need to submit a media reserve, please use the following submission form. NOTE: Due to copyright, we can only scan two chapters from a single book.
